Redeye lures "true leader" to senior position

Mark Patron, founder of Claritas UK and Abacus Europe, has joined eCRM specialist RedEye as non-executive director.
Patron launched the UK's first computer profiling system in 1988, and was a key member of the team that built VNU's marketing information business from $150m (£78.6m) revenue in 1994 to $2.5bn (£1.3bn) in 2001.
RedEye is one of the UK's fastest growing eCRM businesses. In the past 12 months, the agency has won contracts including Npower, British Red Cross and the Department of Trade & Industry. The company also works with blue-chip companies such as Asda, William Hill and the Automobile Association.
Patron has worked with RedEye for several months on various projects, helping management and shareholders to develop the company. He says: "I operate in one of the most exciting online marketing areas, which is rapidly growing and changing. RedEye takes a traditional direct marketing approach to the online arena and gets it to work for clients, which is refreshing."
